My Alzheimer's Journey
Part 74 - Quick Sunday Check-In
I want to give you a quick update on a very cold and icy Sunday night here in Chapel Hill, North Carolina USA.
Linda and I are so sad, heartbroken, and distressed over the murder of Alex Pretti. He was a great human being. A skilled and compassionate nurse. A caring friend to many. A wonderful son. And, a United States citizen.
The question on my mind is, WHY?
Overnight, about an inch of ice and maybe an inch of snow fell. Fortunately, we did not lose electrical power. It is snowing right now. And, it is 22 degrees Fahrenheit.
Something about cold winter nights makes me want breakfast for dinner. Linda is cooking pancakes and bacon. Yum!
Finally, DB insisted on going outside. He wanted to make a snowman. I tried to explain that we had mostly ice. He wanted to see for himself.
