I thought it might be good to read this chronologically - so I'm behind! Thank you again for writing this all down. I blog daily but it is a personal blog. My AD is just starting. I've had the hereditary test and it said I'm a 3/4 allele. The 4 is the AD allele. I had the p-tau 217 scoring - I think that measures the tau in your blood. Normal is 0-.18 and I have .21. I just wanted a baseline to start with. My friend who is "ahead" of me was much, much higher.
Like you, I forget things easily. Yes, the grocery store and the home improvement stores are trouble as I can sometimes wander around and wonder, "Why did I come down to aisle 17?" I remember that I'm supposed to remember something and can even put a letter on it "It starts with ..." or "It sounds like ..." and those things are surprisingly accurate.
Depression ... I internalize it. Apathy ... I don't care about it. ;-)
