This has been a really difficult week for me.
I have lost interest in pretty much everything. I have zero energy. The smallest amount of stress triggers a headache and tremors. In other words, I am depressed.
Who wouldn’t be depressed after having been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s?
Fortunately, I have a loving wife, a supportive family, great friends, and three really cool cats. And, a super comfortable bed to sleep away the darkness.
There have been a few bright moments this week.
We have hired an awesome manager for our business. He is a genuine human with tons of business and construction experience.
Speaking of our business, the team continues to amaze me. They are all stepping up to keep everything moving forward. Most importantly, the guys show their concern about me.
I will be in Beaufort next week for a new project. I plan to see Dr. Claire while I am there. Hopefully, he can tweak my medication and give me more sunshine and less darkness.
Time on the beach will also help me put everything in perspective.
Thanks to everyone for your support
